Women's Digital Rights’ Video Competition : Combating GBV Online

Illustration : Concours Vidéo

Avocats Sans Frontières France is pleased to share the winning video from our competition organised around Nigeria, focusing on the theme ‘Tech, Not Terror: Challenging Online Gender Based Violence’. The competition is part of our e_RIGHTS project, run in collaboration with our partners SPACES FOR CHANGE (S4C) and the CENTER FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND DEVELOPMENT (CITAD).

ℹ️ The aim of the competition was to raise awareness and inspire concrete action to end gender-based violence online. It also highlighted the creativity and ingenuity of young digital_rights defenders working to make the internet safer for women.

🎬 The winning video stands out for its originality, impact and powerful message in favour of women's safety in the digital space. It embodies our vision: to create an online environment where everyone can express themselves freely, without fear of violence or discrimination.

👏 Congratulations to Tonna Onochie and Charles Anita-Mary for their exceptional work!
