The RESPECT project is the result of the consultation made by ASF France with the Guinean civil society and partners supporting the latter, which allowed to elaborate a precise mapping of past and current actions, to analyse the expertise and needs of civil society organisations (CSOs) and thus to identify specific needs.
This process led to the definition of an intervention strategy to enable a precise knowledge of the evolution of human rights and to support civil society and achieve significant changes in the State's respect for human rights. This project also echoes a human rights agenda driven by intensifying political tensions and Guinea's Universal Periodic Review which started in January 2020.
